Central and Souther parts of China faced torrential rain early June. Around 1.7 million people were evacuated from their cities and towns. The flood which came after this constant heavy rain apparently killed about 175 people in central and southern parts. There was lots of de-humidifiers or de-luftbefeuchter are being used to dry the water in many properties around the flooded area so that no further damage is done.
The Civil Affairs Ministry have said the heavy rain and the flood has caused 4.3 billions dollars in loss and over 25 million people have been affected. The spokesman also mentioned that the floow is still growing. We are expecting more heavy rain in the next few days around souther part so we need to act quickly to avoid these disasters sooner than later.
Wen Jiabao Chinese Premier from the Ministry has asked for more help from people all around to get through this crisis. He also said that this is a crucial period and organisation disaster response work must step up and be prepared for these disasters. This heavy rain has cause havoc in southern and central China. The locals and the weather experts are saying they didn’t expect this heavy rainfall and flood as it seems to be three times greater than normal years. Lots of roads and bridges were all washed out by the heavy rain and flood. As soon as the flood started the government dispatched hundreds of rescue boats to evacuate the stranded.
It has been said that 3.3 million acres of crops have been affected by the torrential rain and 393,000 homes have been damaged. The crops are the biggest loss for the country which holds the largest population of the World.
There are lots of supports shown to China from many countries and some of them are specific humidifiers company from South America (Humidificadores) and India (Humidifiers).
