Tips and Tricks for How to Write, Read and Speak Clear Spanish

Ever woke up one day and wanted to learn Spanish? I woke up on Tuesday like that, because of my dream. I was in Spain at some place. I was in a bar trying to order a drink from a bartender and he threw a glass at me! I think I called his wife a clown. Basically the whole point of that story was that now I wanted to learn Spanish. So how hard is it really to learn Spanish?

Basically the older you are, the harder it will be to learn. This is mainly related to the fact that your brain activity decreases with age. Children are able to learn languages fast because their brain activities are off the charts. So sorry older people, but learning a new language will be a struggle for you. So what can we do to learn? There are many alternatives to learn a language instead of taking a class or hiring a tutor. Problem is that most of them are crap. Try picking up a Spanish to English dictionary and read that, good luck. If you want to fall asleep during the lesson because it is boring, then I recommend you check out audio lessons. I found the best learn at home programs to be ones that combine audio, video and manual learning. This way you can remember the lessons better, and heck, they are more fun. Most of these programs include little review games to help your memory, this definitely helps.

I found an awesome program that is actually pretty decently priced, Rocket Spanish by Mauricio Evlampieff. You can access all the lessons from your computer. The lessons are very easy to follow and feature an actual Spanish native. This way you will be getting a proper lesson in dialect and up to date terms so you don’t say something wrong in Spain.

Rocket Languages also has many quality language courses such as Rocket French by Marie-Claire Riviere and Rocket Italian by Maria DiLorenzi. You should read the Rocket Spanish Review, Rocket French Review and Rocket Italian Review at ReviewMOZ instead of listening to me talk the products up. Good luck in your quest to learn how to speak Spanish my new friend!
