I’m from Spain and the ‘C’ and ‘Z’ ARE pronounced like ‘S’ in Southern Spain, including the Canaries. The ‘TH’ sound is frm Nothern and Middlands in Spain.

Hola, me llamo Pedro y soy de España. You are right. This Sir has a South America accent because the ‘C’ in Spanish (Spain,Europe) is pronounced like ‘TH’ and never as the sound ‘S’. HOWEVER the ‘C’ is pronounced as ‘K’ in ‘Casa’ (house, home) BUT can also be pronounced as ‘TH’ as in the word ‘sinCero’ (honest). Anyways the video is helpful

You are right! Thanks for commenting.
That is correct! Thanks for commenting.
Julio
But morado is purple, not brown.
I think you Sir are from America Latin because you pronounce S for C .
I am studing spanish and in Spain is pronounced like TH.

OK

OK
we use morado…
I thought brown was cafe? Im teaching my son cafe cause its easy 4 him to remember that word instead of marron, he relates it more with the drink coffee also “cafe”….
Nothing further from the truth. The word “marrón” is very commonly used in the Spanish speaking world. Do your research and you will see how widely used it is, even more than “café”.
Thanks for your comment.
Julio
the thing is that this video uses the type of spanish that the spanish speaking community in reality does not. no one uses marron anymore
some latin countries use café, like Chile, I think Argentina also and Perú. Some others like Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, etc. use marrón. It´s like the differences you have in english between Australia, England, USA. that´s it…
bye
marlen de Chile
