Pimsleur is a great program to develop listening and speaking skills, and also to learn a portion of a language.
I’m going to Chile to immerse myself. It is a study abroad program at my university. I would go with other students, but live in a Host Family that only speaks spanish
yes! i would love to learn how to speak it fluently! and what is “Pimsleur” , sorry i just don’t know what that is.
yes! they do speak fast! but do u realize so do we? ..sometimes…it usually is spanish who speak more quickly…and rapidly haha

I’m just learning on my own. Mainly doing Pimsleur right now. It is just crazy though how fast some speakers speak.
I took Spanish back in Junior High School a long time ago and didn’t learn anything there! Didn’t have a good teacher.
I’ll be going to Chile this summer though to “immerse” myself.

Haha, I’ve been learning for three months, and just for a warning, if you are just starting out (maybe you are not) it will feel like you are learning a TON and know a bunch, but then you go down to the nearest Mexican Grocer and realize you don’t know anything haha.

Speaking spanish is no issue cause I know precisely what I am saying as the speaker…however Spanish people talk so gosh darn fast I cannot understand and Have to constantly tell them slow down a bit. I learned spanish becuase back in the Day all my boyfriends didn’t speak english so I had to learn spanish to be able to communicate
